Surfer necklaces now at Unity in Evesham

  • Posted on May 24, 2009 at 6:39 pm

Hi Everyone

Sorry it’s been a long time with my new blog. After the Spring Garden Show I had to get cracking with designing new jewellery as so much was sold.

This week I have been really busy and I have been to Naturally Gifted in Worcester, Ki Beauty in Worcester, Fusion in Stoulton and Unity in Evesham. Phew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All that jewellery.

I am really pleased with my jewellery that I have made. Naturally Gifted and Fusion have got some fantastic new extra long necklaces with silver wired hearts with honeybees and dragonflies suspended from them and on popular request, I have made surfer necklaces for my outlet in Unity. I have mixed tibetan silver with onyx, turquoise, hematite, shell to name but a few. The staff were really pleased with what I designed and I know that a couple of the necklaces went down so well their customers are not going to get a look in.

It’s half term next week so I have got a week with the children arhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. At least the weather has improved so we can go out.

Well bye for now…..

Friday and nearly the end of the school holidays!!!

Hi Everyone

It is nearly the end of the school holidays and although I have loved having the kids at home I am itching to get back to making more jewellery. I have got my first Art Fair next Saturday in Worcester High Street and I always panic about having enough jewellery to suit everyone. God knows why – if you want and come and see me you will find that I have got more than enough of everything.

If I get chance today I have also got to design some more bookmarks. I have a bookclub that are very interested in my designs and they are holding their meeting next week. I have got some lovely fresh green freshwater pearls that will look fantastic mixed with tibetan silver and cream freshwater pearls.

Everyone are also loving my angel designed items so I will make some bookmarks with those as well mixed with faceted amethyst and rose quartz beads.

Another idea I have come up with but will have to see how it goes is some gold lampwork hearts that have got honeybees in antique silver attached to the middle. If it works I will post this later on my blog.

Well I better go now as the kids are getting restless and we need to go hunting for some filters for the fish tank and some more plants as the fish and the snails (the bain of my life in the fish tank) are eating the plants.
