Three Counties Show in Malvern with Boffy Arts

  • Posted on June 14, 2010 at 9:32 pm

Hi Everyone

Well I have become the weather expert everytime I have a show outside.

Fortunately the last Boffy Art Fair was held in Bewdley and it was lovely.

At the end of this week, on Friday, the Three Counties Show in Malvern starts. The forecast is meant to be 21 degrees with sunny spells. I have got all my fingers crossed for a lovely summer weekend. I also need to top my suntan up!

Come and say hi if you are around.

Well off now to design some more fab turquoise semi-precious stone necklaces to take along to the show.

Bye for now xxx

Boffy Arts in Malvern, Fashion Shoots, Tiger Arts Gallery – Phew!!! What a Week

  • Posted on December 7, 2009 at 6:03 pm

Hi Everyone

This time of the year is so busy but I love it. I was in Malvern on Saturday with Boffy Arts and it was great fun. Next time we are in Malvern will be Saturday 19 December. The last Saturday before Xmas….. yikes!

Last week I also had a new range of chokers used in a fashion shoot for a gothic vampire theme. I cannot wait to see the photos from Alex from Studio3Photography and how the model looks with the makeup being done by Iain Burton-Legge.

Iain is a highly experienced make-up artist designer and has worked in the industry for over twenty years. He is based in LONDON and the MIDLANDS and has done work with photographer Peter Ashworth and fashion design company Velvet Ink Design. Since then he has worked with some of the most prestigious names in the business, Chanel, Dior and Revlon and has directed on fashion shoots in the UK and the Continent.

As you can tell I CANNOT wait to see the photos and will post them on my blog as soon as I have them.

Also today I have visited Tiger Arts Gallery in Malvern and I am really really excited as my jewellery will be exhibited this Saturday. Tiger Arts Gallery displays modern art, not necessarily abstract but definitely from the 21st century. The gallery is dedicated to local artists and I am pleased to be able to join them with a wide range of work by some excellent artists. If you are in Malvern please go and see them at 271c Worcester Road or visit their website www.tigerarts.co.uk. You will not be disappointed.

Well I am off again now to design bracelets as they seem to be really popular this year.

Worcester Victorian Fayre

  • Posted on November 22, 2009 at 6:32 pm

Well it is that time of year again when everything starts to become festive and what better way to start off your Christmas shopping than to visit the Worcester Victorian Fayre.

Come and see me in Friar Street with the rest of the team from Boffy Arts. The Fayre is held over 4 days and starts at 4 pm on Thursday 26 November and ends at 5 pm on Sunday 29 November.

Worcester Christmas Fayre is the leading themed street market in the West Midlands. Hundreds of stalls fill the atmospheric streets of Worcester’s historic heart with the colours, sounds and smells of Christmas. Explore the wonderful range of merchandise on offer in the city on the market stalls and in the city’s exceptional range of shops, both unique independently owned boutiques and all the High Street names you would expect to find in a thriving county town.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Yipeeeeeeeeeee! Best Ever Sales at Spring Garden Show in Malvern

  • Posted on May 11, 2009 at 1:39 pm

Hi Everyone

I have just had the most fantastic weekend at the RHS Spring Garden Show in Malvern!

I was right next to the exhibitors gardens. Before going to the show I saw the gardens on Gardeners World and thought they looked fantastic, however when you are actually there, they look even better. The colours of the flowers and the textures all mixed together were out of this world.

Also for once the weather was not too bad either. It was a bit windy on Saturday and my business cards made nice confetti floating in the wind but on Sunday the skies were blue and the wind for once had gone to sleep. I couldn’t do the Thursday and the Friday due to having children commitments but talking to the other artists Friday was extremely windy and fun was had by all keeping their wares on the tables!

I must say a big thank you to Steve Boffy who runs Boffy Art Fairs. You can always rely on him. You turn up to whatever fair he is organising and you know you are going to be looked after and that your table is ready to set up with the jewellery. It was also great to have a Pims on Saturday night and get a chance to meet the rest of the team. Thanks Steve.

Right now back to the jewellery. I love meeting everyone and gauge what people think of my jewellery. It was also great to meet people who bought my jewellery last year at the show and had come back to buy more. I must be doing something right!!!

I was rushed off my feet all day on Saturday and went home a very tired but happy person as my sales had reached the best ever for a day out with Boffy Art Fairs. Sunday was also fantastic as well and I also managed to get a bit of a suntan.

Well I cannot relax just yet as my next event is going to be a jewellery night at Cliff hotel in Ludlow. I need to ring up and find out if I have to do a speech on the night. Yikes – not done a speech yet at an event but all of you that know me know that I can talk the hind leg of a donkey so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

Well I better go and sort out my stock and make loads more now as so many of you at the Malvern Show went home with some of my jewellery.

Bye for now.
