A very busy weekend at the Worcester Victorian Fayre

  • Posted on November 30, 2009 at 4:40 pm

Hi Everyone

What a busy weekend I have had. The Worcester Victorian Fayre started on Thursday at 4 in the afternoon and it was really festive with carol singing, people drinking mulled wine and eating hot chestnuts. My team and I were also kept busy with all the customers buying my range of jewellery with my bookmarks again being a popular choice of present.

Next Saturday I am going to be in Malvern High Street with the Boffy Art Fair and will be kept busy all this week designing a new range of Swarovski Crystal necklaces and rings as they also went down a storm at the Worcester Victorian Fayre.

Well bye for now as I need to crack on with the designing and if you are out and about next Saturday in Malvern come and say hello.

Worcester Victorian Fayre

Well it is that time of year again when everything starts to become festive and what better way to start off your Christmas shopping than to visit the Worcester Victorian Fayre.

Come and see me in Friar Street with the rest of the team from Boffy Arts. The Fayre is held over 4 days and starts at 4 pm on Thursday 26 November and ends at 5 pm on Sunday 29 November.

Worcester Christmas Fayre is the leading themed street market in the West Midlands. Hundreds of stalls fill the atmospheric streets of Worcester’s historic heart with the colours, sounds and smells of Christmas. Explore the wonderful range of merchandise on offer in the city on the market stalls and in the city’s exceptional range of shops, both unique independently owned boutiques and all the High Street names you would expect to find in a thriving county town.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Fantastic photography from Alex at Studio3Photography

Hi Guys

I have been really busy designing my new range for Xmas.

Yesterday I visited Alex at Studio3Photography in Evesham. He is such a talented guy with all sorts of photography projects on the go. One day he is at a wedding in a mineshaft – yes you heard me right – a couple got married in a mine and then the next day he is photographing a fashion shoot for Mint Lingerie.

Alex is also a web designer and is currently designing the new website for them. Mint Lingerie by the way is an exclusive designer real silk underwear range that is really luxurious. Go and have a look at their website www.mintlingerie.com. Treat yourself or a loved one for Xmas – you will not be disappointed. The model was really pleased as not only did she get to show off the silk underwear range but my jewellery range as well.

I am so excited and pleased with how One of a Kind is progressing forwards. Here are a couple of photos from my new range:

You will find this designer classic under the Swarovski Crystal Necklace section.

Again another classic pendant which can be found under the Swarovski Crystal Necklace section.

Well back to designing more jewellery. The next month is going to be absolutely manic especially with the Worcester Victorian Fayre starting on Thursday 26 November in Worcester. I will give more details about that in a future post.

Bye for now I am off to design more jewellery…..

Boffy Art Fair in Worcester High Street

  • Posted on October 26, 2009 at 10:32 pm

Hi everyone

If you are out and about in Worcester this coming Friday and Saturday come and say hello. Boffy Art Fair will be in Worcester High Street.

I have been busy designing a fantastic new range of jewellery especially for men. I will be taking that with me to the art fair.

Tomorrow I will be visiting Cutting Edge in Worcester with more stock and to say hello to the stylists and if I get chance later on in the week I will be going to say hi to everyone at Fusion.

It is the sprout season now and Fusion have a wonderful Sprout Cake – yes you heard me right – can’t wait to try it. They also have a fantastic sprout fritter as a starter. My friends have tried the cake and the fritters and love it but I haven’t had chance yet. Even if you do not like sprouts the cake and the fritters will convert you.

Well off again now as going to chill before early night to bed. All this designing is very exhausting – but I would not have it any other way.

Bye for now.

Competition Time Again

Hi Guys

Well it is competition time again! As my jewellery has just gone into Cutting Edge in Reindeer Court, Worcester, I thought it would be a great idea to give you the opportunity to win a designer Swarovski Crystal Sterling Silver Necklace worth £45.00. I have got a fantastic range of Swarovski Crystal necklaces in Cutting Edge to include a superb amber Swarovski crystal leaf pendant. I have also got the most stunning range of semi-precious stone jewellery with all the meanings for each individual piece so you will have loads of fun browsing. You have just got to go and have a look and whilst you are there, why not have a brand new look and have your hair re-designed by one of the many talented stylists in the salon.

Now back to the competition. I need say no more but to show you the necklace. Here it is:

Hi Guys

I am so sorry it has been a long time since my last blog.

I have had a really hectic summer trying to fit in 2 young active children and art events around the Worcestershire area.

Where do I start?

Well again Steve Boffy Art fairs have been at their best and I have enjoyed being in Worcester city centre in the summertime and also Kidderminster and Malvern. On the 26 September I will be at the Autumn Garden Show in Malvern and I have been busy designing leaf enspired jewellery.

As well as that I have had a number of magazines contact me to feature my jewellery in. To name but a few there has been Vogue OMG…………….. and Tatler. I am really excited about this but need to look at financing this for next year.

Locally it has also been a successful summer with Fusion having a fun time selling my jewellery and with me keeping up with the demand.

and last but not least……………… I am going to be in to Cutting Edge in Raindear Court, Worcester as from 3 October. I am really excited about this and will be designing a really special range of semi-precious stone jewellery that will have the details of the stones and their meanings along side the jewellery.

and to keep all you guys happy here is a picture of my latest designer jewellery using Keishi Freshwater Pearls.

Winner of Swarovski Crystal Heart Necklace

  • Posted on August 1, 2009 at 7:33 pm

Hi Everyone

I have just got back from a 2 week holiday with the family in Egypt. Fantastic snorkelling in the red sea.

Now I am back and the weather is appalling. I am now thinking I will be rusting rather than bronzing with all the rain we have had today!

Well once I have done the pile of washing and ironing – aftermath of going on holiday I will be back to designing some more jewellery for you and organising another competition.

The Swarovski Heart Pendant caused alot of interest.

Jackie from Wakefield won the necklace and was really delighted. These are the comments she left on my customer feedback:

Received my prize (Sterling Silver Swarovski Crystal Heart Necklace) this morning. Many thanks for the speedy dispatch. I am not usually a fan of silver jewellery but this may just have produced a convert – it is beautiful. Thanks for a great site and wonderful competition prize.

As this competition was so successful I am thinking about designing something again with Swarovski. If any of you have a certain desire to wear a necklace with Swarovski please email your wishes to me and I will see what I can do for you and design it for my competition.

Bye for now – off to do the ironing!!! yuck yuck and more yuck……………

Whew What a Busy Week!!!!

  • Posted on July 3, 2009 at 12:10 pm

Hi Everyone

It has been so busy over the last few days.

First of all I was at the Upton Jazz Festival from Friday through to Sunday. Fantastic music with a mixed bag of weather ranging from weather warnings for thunder storms on Friday (didn’t I know about that – I forgot to take my wellies!!!) and heatwaves by Sunday.

Steve Boffy who organises the Boffy Art Fairs is a talanted man because not only does he help support the local arts and crafts community but he also organises events with musicians. Steve was running the ‘Best of Young Jazz’ and he also did all the fundraising for it.

The project involved over 200 young musicians in school master-classes with professional Jazz musicians, auditions across the county and a venue that gave many young people their first opportunity to share their talent with the public. The whole project has been heralded as a huge success and plans are now being discussed to continue the project in the future.

After the Jazz Festival I then had a Ladies in Business event at the Convent School in Worcester on Wednesday where I was an exhibitor. I have attended all of the events held by Ladies in Business and from all of the networking events I have been to I look forward the most to these as they are so friendly and relaxed. My exhibition was a huge success and I am looking forward to the next event in October.

Well I better be off now as I literally have got to go to the Grange School in Worcester for the two day Summer Fayre.

Networking Event at the Award Winning Fusion in Stoulton

  • Posted on June 14, 2009 at 4:32 pm

Hi Everyone

Since my last blog I have been ill in bed. These nasty viruses that the kids give us. I have had flu like symptons so have not been anywhere near the workshop.

Well I am hoping to be on the mend now as next Tuesday 16 June there is going to be a fantastic opportunity to meet fellowlike business people at a networking event at Fusion.

Worcester Pages are holding the event at Fusion. They should be really pleased with the venue they are holding it at as Fiorinda and Felice have just won two fantastic awards from Visit Worcester. The first award being the best Eat and Drink Worcestershire category and another award for their Outstanding Contribution.

Well done Fiorinda and Felice you definately deserve it as your food is sublime and the warm welcome you always get is outstanding too.

Well I am off now to see the lovely weather we have got outside. I have not seen much of it due to this pesky virus!!!
