Hi Everyone

Well its two days to Christmas Day and in my household it is very busy. Are we organised no!!!! Did the main christmas present for the daughter have to be sourced from a different company as another company let us down – yes. Have we wrapped up presents yet? – not one….. but I think thats part of Christmas having the last minute rush to do everything.

Have a lovely Christmas everyone and I will blog again in the New Year.

Hi Everyone

Thought I should let you know that there is a very happy lady called Madalaine in Berkshire who at this moment has a Swarovski crystal necklace on its way to her.

I have had another look at the weather forecast for Malvern tomorrow. When I am setting up for Boffy Art Fairs it is going to be minus 3 degrees. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. So 4 pairs of socks – check; fleecy trousers – check; skirt (my warmest one – check; 4 tops – check; a vibrant jade fleece – check and what do you get? Mitchelin Man – hee hee hee. At least I will be warm???? Minus 3 degrees.

Joking aside it is one of the best shows of the year as it is Christmas. Hope to see you there. Now I am off to go and hunt down all my gloves. I wonder how many pairs I can put on my hands? Could be going for the world record.

Boffy Art Fair in Malvern Saturday 19 December 2009

Hi Everyone

I have just taken a quick 10 minute break to update my blog.

On Saturday will be the last Saturday before Christmas day and my last event of the year. I will be in the Priory grounds in Malvern with Boffy Art Fairs.

Brrrrrrrrr its going to be cold and snow is forecast but at least it will feel like Christmas. Of all the shows with Boffy Art Fairs this is one of my favourites as it does make you feel like it is Christmas. There is always a good feel to the Christmas Arts Market with lots of bantering between the stall holders and the customers.

I have got some even more exciting news as well. I decided to show my artwork to Tiger Arts Gallery in Malvern. Yes….. in my spare time……. what’s that? I paint and draw with pen and ink drawings and modern abstract art canvasses. They loved my work so much that I will actually be having an exhibition of my artwork in the new year some time around Spring. So there was me thinking of having a quiet break in January and now I will be painting and drawing. I am really excited about it and a bit nervous. Never done anything like this before but hey going to give it my best.

Well back to designing more jewellery and if you fancy finnishing off your last minute shopping or in some men’s cases…… starting their Christmas shopping (hee hee hee) come and see me in Malvern on the last shopping Saturday before Christmas.

Boffy Arts in Malvern, Fashion Shoots, Tiger Arts Gallery – Phew!!! What a Week

Hi Everyone

This time of the year is so busy but I love it. I was in Malvern on Saturday with Boffy Arts and it was great fun. Next time we are in Malvern will be Saturday 19 December. The last Saturday before Xmas….. yikes!

Last week I also had a new range of chokers used in a fashion shoot for a gothic vampire theme. I cannot wait to see the photos from Alex from Studio3Photography and how the model looks with the makeup being done by Iain Burton-Legge.

Iain is a highly experienced make-up artist designer and has worked in the industry for over twenty years. He is based in LONDON and the MIDLANDS and has done work with photographer Peter Ashworth and fashion design company Velvet Ink Design. Since then he has worked with some of the most prestigious names in the business, Chanel, Dior and Revlon and has directed on fashion shoots in the UK and the Continent.

As you can tell I CANNOT wait to see the photos and will post them on my blog as soon as I have them.

Also today I have visited Tiger Arts Gallery in Malvern and I am really really excited as my jewellery will be exhibited this Saturday. Tiger Arts Gallery displays modern art, not necessarily abstract but definitely from the 21st century. The gallery is dedicated to local artists and I am pleased to be able to join them with a wide range of work by some excellent artists. If you are in Malvern please go and see them at 271c Worcester Road or visit their website www.tigerarts.co.uk. You will not be disappointed.

Well I am off again now to design bracelets as they seem to be really popular this year.
